The overall aim of the Enlistment Enhancement Program (EEP) is to gain assistance in enlisting Soldiers into the Your State Army National Guard. The Enlistment Enhancement Program will provide a monetary incentive of $2,000 to Soldiers and Retirees who can provide a lead to Recruiters that results in an Enlistment.
Current Soldiers and Retirees will function as Assistants, who will provide support and guidance to Recruits.
Assistants will be expected to guide, motivate, and encourage Recruits all the way up to the point of enlistment.
All current members of the Oregon Army National Guard or Oregon Air National Guard holding the pay grade of O-5 and below, can participate in Enlistment Enhancement Program.
Retirees of any rank who have served in the Oregon Army National Guard can also participate.
Guardsmen assigned, attached, or affiliated (full-time, part-time, temporary status or performing Active Duty for Operational Support) to the Recruiting Command for the YSARNG and their immediate family members cannot participate in this program.
Assistants will review the documents available for download on this page. Assistants will submit their leads/referrals using the Referral Ticket located on this page. By hitting “submit” on the Referral Ticket, the EEP Agreement is generated and sent to the EEP Manager for review.
The EEP Manager reviews the contract to ensure the EEP Assistant is eligible for the program.
Once the EEP Manager determines eligibility, he/she will send the agreement and lead information to a local Recruiter based on the Recruiting & Retention Command (RRC) distribution policy. The Assistant will be required to sign the EEP contract and W9. Retirees will be required to provide Retirement Verification Documents.
Once the Recruiter has been chosen, he/she will request assistance from the EEP Assistant in maintaining contact with the lead throughout the enlistment process. The EEP Assistant will offer advice and encouragement to the referred lead alongside the assigned Recruiter during the enlistment process.
The assigned Recruiter will prepare all paperwork necessary for the referred lead to enlist, which takes place at a MEPS Station. The EEP Manager reviews the contract to ensure the EEP Assistant is eligible for the program.
Once the referred lead enlists into the Oregon Army National Guard, the contract will be sent to JFHQ to verify all contractual obligations have been met. The payment will be sent via check to the EEP Assistant’s home of record.
